Inauguration ceremony of BSAHRP newly elected EC held

Apparel Correspondent: The inauguration ceremony of the Bangladesh Society for Apparel HR Professionals (BSAHRP) newly elected executive council (EC) for the 2021-23 session was held on 6 January at a hotel in Dhaka’s Uttara
The programme was graced with the presence of the Bangladesh apparel industry’s HR, admin, and compliance professionals.
Former President of BSAHRP M Showket Iqbal Acs gave a welcoming speech at the event.
Mohd. Shahin Miah, Sr. General Manager-HRAC of the Masco group was elected as the new President of BSAHRP while Md. Abul Bashar, General Manager of the Pakiza Group was elected as the General Secretary, Abul Kalam was elected as the Vice President, Kamrul Islam was elected as the Treasurer.
Other elected EC members are Ismail Hossen; Abu Sayed Nazim, Abdul Karim Dhali, Ummay Afia Akhter, and Sadia Afroz.
Mohd. Shahin Miah said, “As the largest HR professionals’ platform in Bangladesh apparel industry, BSAHRP will work together for ensuring professional as well as organizational goals for the next two years.”
The Siaam Fashion was the title sponsor while other sponsors of the occasion were Reckon Exim (BD) Limited, BM International, Youable, SIMS Bangladesh, Microtex Corporation, and BM International (Life Safety Fire Protection).
Md. Musharrof Hossain, Founder President of the Federation of Bangladesh Human Resource Organizations (FBHRO), Moinuddin Chowdhury, Secretary-General of the FBHRO, Nur A. Khan, former President of the BSAHRP, ABM Sirajul Azad, former Secretary of the BSAHRP, MA Hashem, former Secretary of the BSAHRP, Muhammad Ali Hossain, former Secretary of the BSAHRP, AHM Karuzzaman, Founder members of the BSAHRP, Meer Moin Hossain, Founder members of the BSAHRP and others also gave their respective speeches.
BSAHRP was founded in 2015 as a nonprofit organization for supporting HR professionals. They are working in the Bangladesh apparel sector to improve skills, create scope for sharing practical knowledge and Ideas among members to make them updated, provide training on regular basis to enhance their quality of job, ultimately to contribute for making a standard platform to contribute for the betterment of the industry. Currently, there are 500 members in this organization.
