BGEA holds get-together

Apparel Correspondent: Bangladesh Garments Executives Association (BGEA), garment factory owners and buying house owners jointly arranged a get-together on Monday, January 19, 2021 at Uttara Club in the capital’s Uttara.
Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Md Atiqul Islam was present as a chief guest and BGEA President Masudur Rahman presided over the event attended by Sammilita Parishad panel leader of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Giant Group Managing Director Faruque Hassan as a chief speaker, Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) President Kazi Iftekhar Hossain Babul as a guest of honour, members of BGEA Board of Directors, garment factory owners and buying house owners.
BGEA General Secretary Emdad ul Haq Miazi directed the meeting.
Later, the programme was concluded with a dinner.
BGEA was formed in 1999. It represents the executives of RMG sector (knit, garments, woven, sweater, denim, textile, backward-forward linkage industries and other associated business houses). It also works as a sourcing house to promote the quality, styles and excellence of the products and as a mediator between the owner and the buyer.
