Arittro is the youngest writer at Ekushey book fair

Staff Correspondent: Arittro Hriddhi Biswas is the youngest writer in the Ekushey Book Fair-2019. A book of rhyme named ‘Aalor Pothe’ was published in this book fair in Bangla. He is a student of class two at Udayan Higher Secondary School and is seven and half years old.

Prof. Dr. Sitesh C. Bachar, Chairman, Pharmacy Department, University of Dhaka, journalist and writer Ibrahim Khalil Jewel, journalist and writer Kazi Tufail Ahmed, father of Arittro Amit K. Biswas, mother Hiya Rani Sarder, Grandmother Purnima Rani Biswas, Swapna Bachar, Soumitra Sarder, Ritesh Bachar, along with noted writers, journalists and corporate personalities were present at the cover unveiling ceremony that was arranged at the Suhrawardy Udyan mancha on 24 February, 2019. Arittro’s father Amit K. Biswas is also a writer and editor & publisher of The Apparel News - a bilingual newspaper on textile & RMG. Besides, he has been working at a senior position in country's highest foreign currency earning sector- the apparel sector. Arittro's mother Hiya Rani Sarder is an official of University of Dhaka.

The book was published by 'Karubak' publication. Charu Pintu illustrated the cover. There are eight rhymes in the book. The book of Arittro is worth 100 Taka.
