When we are talking about the pillars of Bangladesh’s economy, the textile sector comes first. Now this sector is contributing 80% of the total export revenue of the country.
And Bangladesh University of Textiles is acting as heart of the sector by providing textile graduates who are leading the sector. Students of this institution are trying heart and soul to improve the skills that can be helpful to promote the textile sector of the country. And this is being done by their engagement in many co-curricular activities.
BUTEX Business Club, one of its most prominent clubs, is a platform for the students to foster their leadership skill. It is also working to develop business ideas among the students of BUTEX. For this, it organizes textile based business case competitions. These competitions engage textile students for the real life business problem solving. They are also sharing different textile based business ideas. Students think that these competitions give them a platform to share their ideas and also help to storm their minds.
